Dropdown Example — Category tree dropdowns with search volume bars in Spate

The dropdowns that move you through Spate’s category tree. The first step lists categories with a photo each (Hair, Skincare, Piercings & Tattoos, Nails, Makeup, Fragrance), so you recognize them before you read them.

Later steps open a panel of subcategories. Each one shows its search volume, and a light bar behind the name fills in proportion to it, so the biggest groups stand out at a glance. Longer lists get a search field and a link to see them all. The bottom of the shot shows the menus in place, on a numbered path above the page.
