Revenue and user types — Animated revenue waterfall and user type charts for AI answers

The revenue and user type cards from my chart explorations, animated. The left card answers where last month’s growth came from. Each bar rises from where it starts, so last month’s revenue, new accounts, expansion and today’s revenue read as one waterfall, and the growth between the two ends counts up last.

The right card swaps the chart for three rows, one per user type. Each row draws its arrow first and then counts from last quarter’s figure to this quarter’s, so the direction is clear before the number lands.
