Writing dashboard — Writing stats page with goals and trends in Shosho
My writing stats, the page in Shosho that turns a writer’s habits into numbers they can follow.
The top row covers the daily questions: the writer’s level and how far it is to the next one, today’s words against the daily goal (457 of 300 in this example, so 143%), and the current streak with lifetime totals. Below, a weekly trends chart compares this week with the last, and a month calendar marks each day by how close it came to the goal.
The daily goal also shows as a small bar at the bottom of the sidebar, so it stays in view while writing.
