Edit Mode - Sidebar — Writing feedback sidebar in Shosho's edit mode

The Text editing sidebar from Shosho’s Edit mode, open next to the story it is checking.

The highlights in the text use the same colors as the rows in the panel: very hard and slightly hard sentences, words with a simpler alternative, filler words, adverbs and passive voice. Each row pairs a count with a plain instruction, like “Try to divide them” or “Rewrite the sentence to make it better”, so the writer learns what to do about it, not only what’s wrong. Readability, writing level and the chosen editing level sum things up at the top.
