Heads up and "You have an account" state — Existing account and move-in date warnings for Public Grid
Two inline messages from the About you step of Public Grid’s utility onboarding: an email that’s already registered, and a near move-in date.
On the left, the email is already registered. Instead of an error, the form says so in place and sends a one-time code to log in instantly, with a field for the code and a resend link. On the right, the same step warns about a near move-in date: utility transfers take a few days, so the account might not be active yet, but the power stays on and the building might bill for the gap. Both messages appear right where they apply.
