HelloGov – Document Selection UI (Iteration 4 vs. Iteration 5) — Service selection checkout step iterations for HelloGov

HelloGov Flows

Let’s talk
Service selection checkout step iterations for HelloGov

The first step of HelloGov’s checkout, from a round of iterations on how people choose what they’re ordering.

It asks who the order is for (just me, me and someone else, or someone else only), then a name and date of birth, with a note that the date verifies identity. Documents are a list of services with starting prices.

Selecting Passport opens two optional questions inline, where you’re going and when, while Travel visa, Vehicle registration and Immigration wait below under a Hide services toggle. Nothing extra appears until it’s relevant.
