Payment error states — Utility payment amount error states for Public Grid

States for the Other amount option in Public Grid’s Make payment panel, for a household that pays electricity and gas separately.

The first version simply asks for a dollar amount per utility. The second gives each utility its own short list: total due, past due balance or a custom amount, so a partial payment doesn’t start with arithmetic. The third is the error state. If nothing is chosen, the whole group turns red and a line underneath asks you to select how much to pay before continuing.
