Payment flow animation for Public Grid, an unused draft

An unused draft for Public Grid, made for fun while I played with motion. It never shipped. It was a chance to see how the illustrations from the payment screens could move.

It opens on the usage dashboard. The chart draws in, the electricity and gas numbers count down, and the cards under it stack one by one.

The payment part starts with the Visa card on its own. A white layer grows out from under it, the side cards slide out, and the encrypted text behind it keeps scrolling while Processing spins. Mastercard and a bank account join it, and Visa is picked.

It ends on Payment complete. The check draws itself, a soft pulse goes out, and the receipt fills in: what was paid, the $140 amount, the card used and the $60 still due.
