Text editor — Minimal writing surface and text editor in Shosho
The writing surface in Shosho, a writing app whose promise is to help people write more and write better.
The page stays almost bare: a heading, serif body text and a large image. Formatting appears only when text is selected, as a small dark toolbar above the selection with the text style, bold, italic, strikethrough, link, lists and a button to comment on the selection.
Share and Publish sit in the top-right corner, and three small icons on the right edge hold the editor’s side actions.
