HelloGov – Start Your Order (Step 1 of Checkout) — Start your order checkout step for HelloGov passports

The first step of HelloGov’s checkout, where a guided passport application begins. A five-step tracker runs across the top (service, speed, account, shipping, payment), with a row of small trust badges under the heading.

The form asks who the order is for (me, me plus someone else, or someone else only), then name and date of birth, with a note that the birthday is used to verify identity. Choosing Passport opens two optional questions about destination and travel date inside the same card. Other services fold away behind a toggle, each with its starting price.
