Utility account connection flow for Public Grid
Every state of connecting a utility account to Public Grid, shown here with National Grid.
It starts with the utility login and a note that credentials are protected and never stored, with Upload bill as a way out for anyone without an online account. A verification code comes next, then a progress list while Public Grid connects, validates the credentials and pulls in the account details. It ends with You’re connected and the linked account.
The failures get the same care: a wrong password offers Try again or Upload bill, and an incomplete code gets an inline error and a resend link.
